The brand has been making the Catalan giants' kit and other club-branded apparel since 1998, and the previous contract was due to expire in 2028.
Barcelona has announced a new kit contract with US sportswear brand Nike that approaches 1.7 billion euros by 2038.
Nike has been making the Catalan giants' kit and other apparel with the club brand since 1998 and the existing contract was due to expire in 2028.
"Barcelona and Nike, two leading brands in the sports industry, are pleased to announce a new beginning with a multi-year partnership agreement that takes effect from this season," the Catalans said in a statement.
Barcelona did not disclose the length of the new contract.
The Spanish club tried to terminate its previous contract with Nike earlier this year, but in July a Spanish court specialising in commercial law prevented it from doing so.
Barcelona has been struggling financially for several seasons and in 2022 sold 25% of its television rights for the next 25 years to US private equity group Sixth Street. | BGNES, AFP
