Israel plans to launch a ground offensive in Rafah in Gaza with or without the support of its close ally the United States, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, as he told US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, AFP reported.
"We have no way of defeating Hamas without going into Rafah and liquidating the battalions that are left there. I told him (Blinken) that I hope we can do this with the support of the United States, but if we have to, we will do it alone " Netanyahu said after his meeting with Blinken in Tel Aviv. /BGNES
