Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has doubled down on his support for Israel's war against Hamas, vowing that his country will bring the war to an "end," CNN reported.
"This is neither an 'operation' nor a 'tour', but a war to the end. It is important to me that you know this. This is not in words, but in the heart and mind. If we don't finish them, it will come back," he said. Netanyahu in front of soldiers from the Israeli Caracal Battalion during his visit.
On November 12, Netanyahu refused to answer whether he would take responsibility for failing to prevent the attack on Israel on October 7, saying there would be time for such "difficult" questions when the war was over.
Israel's prime minister admitted it was a "question that needs to be asked" but that for now the country must unite around the goal of defeating Hamas, which carried out a horrific attack on Israel on October 7 that left more than 1,400 dead.
"We will answer all these questions," the Prime Minister said and added: "Right now, I think what we need to do is to unite the country for one goal; to achieve victory."/BGNES
