"Israel strikes unprecedented blow at Hezbollah".
This was stated by the leader of the Lebanese group Hassan Nasrallah, AFP reports.
His statement came in reference to the wave of pager explosives that killed 37 Hezbollah members and wounded 3,500 others. The group and its ally Iran blamed Israel for the incident.
"With this operation, the enemy has crossed all ... red lines," Nasrallah said in his first televised appearance since the attacks.
He accused Israel of trying to kill fewer than 5,000 people with the attack.
Nasrallah vowed that the Hezbollah he leads will not stop fighting Israel until the war in the Gaza Strip is over.
"The Lebanese front will not stop until the aggression in Gaza stops, despite all this bloodshed," the leader of the Iran-backed group said.
He added that an internal investigation would be carried out into communication devices used by Hezbollah members and sympathisers. | BGNES
