Musk: Starship will save life on Earth

Elon Musk believes that the Starship spacecraft will allow humans to explore other planets and thus save them from extinction on Earth.

"Starship will make life multiplanetary and save it from extinction on Earth if the bureaucracy does not intervene," he wrote on his page on the X network. The entrepreneur added that every year "government regulation becomes more stifling." "If this continues, all major projects in the US will become illegal," he is convinced. Starship is being developed by Musk's SpaceX. It is assumed that the space system will be universal and can be used in various versions for manned flights in low Earth orbit, launching satellites and carrying out missions to the Moon, Mars, as well as to more distant celestial bodies. The reusable Super Heavy and Starship are expected to make vertical landings on Earth.

Musk expects Starship to go to Mars unmanned in two years. If the landing of ships on the planet is successful, the first manned launches to Mars could take place in four years. The main goal pursued by the owner of SpaceX is to create a self-sufficient city on Mars in 20 years. | BGNES
