Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho wants to bring Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to the club and has already contacted him, British tabloid The Sun reports.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner will turn 40 in February and recently admitted he still has one or two years left in football, despite performing at a high level in the Saudi Arabian league. According to the publication, Mourinho called Ronaldo, with whom he worked at Real Madrid more than a decade ago, and offered him to spend the final years of his career at Fenerbahce.
The Portuguese's contract with Al Nassr expires in June and he has not yet reached an agreement with the club for a new contract. However, for the time being, it seems unlikely that Ronaldo will agree to play in the Turkish Super League, and it is not excluded that he will follow in the footsteps of his great rival Lionel Messi and play in the United States from next season. | BGNES
