Minnesota keeps hopes alive after victory in Dallas

The Minnesota Timberwolves kept alive their dreams of a first NBA Finals appearance after beating the Dallas Mavericks 105-100 on the road in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Anthony Edwards and company lost their first three games and faced elimination from the playoffs, but they got their first win and now face a home game in game five.

Edwards was one assist away from a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists, and Karl-Anthony Towns had a serious shooting percentage and scored 25 points (4/5 from three). Minnesota's shooting was more than 10 percent better than Dallas', 52.7 to 42.0. Mavericks star Luka Doncic had a triple-double with 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, but made just 7 of 21 shots. "It's my fault," Doncic said after the match. "I didn't have enough energy. They won tonight, but we have to concentrate on the next game," added the Slovenian.

Game number 5 will be played in Minneapolis on Friday at 3:30 Bulgarian time. The winner of this series will meet the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. /BGNES
