Mike Tyson: There will be a match with Jake Paul, I'm ready

For the second time in New York, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul came face to face during a press conference to raise interest in their exhibition match, which will take place in Arlington, Texas, on November 15.

"There will be a fight," Tyson said when asked if the fight with Paul would go ahead as planned, having been postponed once due to Iron Mike's health issue. "We're all here…I'm ready. I am very well prepared. I had a slight problem, I got sick, but I'm better now".

The Tyson-Paul fight was scheduled to take place on July 20, but was postponed after the 58-year-old former world heavyweight champion fell ill on a flight on May 26. Tyson revealed that he has been in training camp for 2-3 weeks since his doctors gave him the green light to resume training. "I'm beautiful" added Iron Mike with his typical charm.

Tyson is 31 years older than Paul, who was booed at the press conference. "Hey, New York, shut up. Boo yourself. Hey, New York, you're just like Mike Tyson, you were good 20 years ago", he told fans, at one point comparing himself to the late legend Muhammad Ali.

"There are a lot of big names who want to fight me. I still want a fight with Canelo Alvarez and to become a world champion, that's why I'm here. And when that happens, people are going to say, "That boy knew something that we didn't know"" added the YouTuber and professional boxer. | BGNES
