According to the published report on the financial results of the global technology company Microsoft, its revenue jumped by 18% in the last quarter of 2023.
Revenues amounted to 62 billion dollars for the three months ended December 31, Anadolu Agency reported.
Microsoft's net income was over $21.8 billion and operating income was over $27 billion, both up 33% year-over-year.
"We've gone from talking about Artificial Intelligence (AI) to implementing AI at scale," said Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella.
"By embedding AI in every layer of our technology products, we win new customers and help deliver new benefits and increase productivity in every sector," she added.
Amy Hood, Microsoft's executive vice president and chief financial officer, said Microsoft Cloud revenue rose 24% year over year to $33.7 billion in the October-December period.
According to the financial results, the revenue of the Intelligent Cloud division of the company was 25.9 billion dollars - an increase of 20%.
