Michael Jackson recreated by his nephew in his first biopic

The first footage from the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, which is expected to be released in 2025, has surfaced online. The photo was shared on Instagram by the singer's nephew Jaafar Jackson, who plays his famous relative.

"The journey starts on Monday," Jaafar, the son of the King of Pop's older brother, captioned the post. It is important to note that Jafar also connected his life with the stage, like his famous uncle. He's been singing and dancing since he was 12, and released his first single in 2019. Perhaps that's why, family resemblance aside, Michael's fans are mostly happy that Jaafar landed the lead role in the film.

The post with the first frame of the film, where a young man does his uncle's signature move while standing on tiptoe, has garnered many approving comments. Many people write that Michael would be proud of Jaafar if he were alive.

Meanwhile, a scandal is brewing over Jermaine Jackson, Jaafar's father and a member of the Jackson 5 group, in which Michael once participated. Last month he was charged with rape. /BGNES
