Above all was the star Ja Morant, who finished with 28 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds, and Desmond Bayne added 21 points and 8 assists. Brooklyn relied entirely on long-range shooting and made 20 three-pointers, but only 22 two-point shots.
Thus, Memphis is now in second place in the Western Conference with 18 wins and 8 losses, while Brooklyn is in 10th place in the East with a balance of 10-15.
