Memphis' rise continues with victory over Brooklyn

The Memphis Grizzlies recorded their 10th victory in their last 11 NBA games, after defeating the Brooklyn Nets 135-119 at home tonight.

The Grizzlies were effective on offense and converted 52.5 percent of their shots, and four players on the team scored 20 or more points. Above all was the star Ja Morant, who finished with 28 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds, and Desmond Bayne added 21 points and 8 assists. Brooklyn relied entirely on long-range shooting and made 20 three-pointers, but only 22 two-point shots.

Thus, Memphis is now in second place in the Western Conference with 18 wins and 8 losses, while Brooklyn is in 10th place in the East with a balance of 10-15.
