Meghan Markle is "stressed" as her brand deals are "falling apart" and the Duchess even wants her husband Prince Harry to "step up", the Mirror reports.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020, and soon after they moved to Montecito, California. And in keeping with their new Hollywood lifestyle, the couple have signed deals with Spotify, Netflix and Penguin Random House.
But despite the glamorous contracts the pair secured, their partnership with Spotify ended last year, reportedly by mutual agreement. And now, as Meghan and Harry face a crucial year, Meghan is feeling concerned.
A source recently told Heat magazine: "This is a crucial year for them and Meghan has told Harry to step up. She's been taking the lion's share of the network work so far and she's stressed out, mostly because so many deals have fallen through."
"She wants to take a step back and thinks it's time for Harry to play the game," the source added.
It comes after it was reported this week that Meghan's mother Doria, 67, who is a yoga teacher, had recently moved into the grounds of Harry and Meghan's Montecito estate. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth's caring grandmother has reportedly moved into the Sussex guest house to help the couple through "difficult times"./BGNES
