Meghan Markle and Prince Harry helped evacuees from Los Angeles fires

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Altadena and Pasadena to support evacuees from the Eaton fire. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in Montecito, joined volunteers at the Pasadena Convention Center to help displaced residents. Megan, who is originally from Canoga Park, has ties to the nearby Kennett Fire area.

The couple spent 45 minutes walking through the affected neighborhoods, meeting families and assessing the devastation. They also collaborated with Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo and chef Jose Andres, whose nonprofit World Central Kitchen (WCK) was distributing food. Their foundation, Archewell, has partnered with WCK before in global relief efforts.

Mayor Gordo praised the couple's dedication, stating, "They met with first responders and affected families, showing genuine concern." Meghan and Harry personally thanked the firefighters and helped distribute supplies, demonstrating their commitment to helping the community during this crisis. | BGNES
