The star of France Kylian Mbappe showed the mask with which he will play until the end of the European Championship in Germany.
The 25-year-old captain of the "roosters" suffered a fractured nose in the victory over Austria, and it was not clear if he would be able to continue his participation in the tournament or if he would have to undergo surgery.
In the end, Mbappe will postpone the surgery to help his team in the battle for the trophy from
Euro 2024. It is not yet clear whether he will feature in tonight's clash with the Netherlands, but after that, the striker will be available to coach Didier Deschamps.
Already after the match with Austria, Mbappe called on social networks for ideas for a protective mask, receiving many of them, and most often they were related to the popular animation "Ninja Turtles". In the end, Mbappe has chosen a much simpler option - his protective mask will be in the colours of the French flag.
He wore the mask for the Roosters' final training session on Thursday night, in which he took part alongside his teammates.
