However, the Danish international was unable to deal with Sam Lammers after the break and the striker restored parity in the 68th minute. Until the end, Erik ten Hag, who is a former coach of the Dutch, and his men didn't manage to get a winning goal.
On Sunday, United return to their Premier League action when they host Tottenham, before the team travel to Porto in their second match in the Europa League.
In another game, Kiril Despodov came off the bench in the 77th minute but PAOK's lost 1:3 to Galatasaray. In Istanbul, the hosts took the lead after Rahman Baba's own goal, but Giannis Konstantelias equalized. However, "Chim Bom" reached the victory after goals from Yunus Akgun and Mauro Icardi, who substituted Victor Osimhen.
