Thus, in Friday's final, the champions of Europe will meet Brazilian Fluminense, who a day earlier defeated Egyptian Al Ahly 2:0 in the other semi-final. The Citizens are chasing a fifth trophy of the calendar year, having already won the English title and the FA Cup, Champions League and European Super Cup trophies.
