Man City claim three points at Selhurst Park to join Liverpool at the top

At Selhurst Park, the champions fell behind early on but came full circle for a valuable three points in the title race. The hosts took the lead in the third minute with a goal by Jean-Philippe Mateta, but the leaders of the "citizens" Kevin de Bruyne quickly equalized. It was level at the break, but Rico Lewis scored City's second soon after, and Erling Holland and De Bruyne ended the dispute with two strikes between the 66th and 70th minutes. Shortly before the end Odson Edouard returns a goal for the "eagles".

Thus, Pep Guardiola's team now has 70 points, which is Liverpool's asset, but the "reds" have a game less and tomorrow they visit Manchester United.
