Macron: The number of victims in Gaza is unacceptably high

"The death toll in Gaza is unacceptably high. Israeli operations in the enclave must end."
This is what French President Macron told Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu during a telephone conversation, AFP reported.
Macron expressed France's "firm opposition" to the Israeli offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah and stressed that a ceasefire agreement must be reached "without further delay".
The French head of state said it is imperative to open "all checkpoints" in Gaza to deliver aid to the blockaded enclave./BGNES
