Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy has revealed that she and the singer have planned to get married within a year. She said that after the former One Direction star's death, she had "lost the best part of herself", the Guardian reported.
The autopsy report said former One Direction member Payne died from multiple traumas and "internal and external hemorrhaging" after falling from the third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
In an Instagram post a week after the singer's death, Cassidy said:
"I don't even know where to start. My heart is broken in a way I can't put into words. I wish you could see the tremendous impact you had on the world, even though I feel so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone - your millions of fans, your family, your friends and most of all me."
"You are so incredibly loved. You are - because I can't say was - my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious and lit up every room you walked into. None of this feels real and I can't come to terms with the new reality that you're not here. It's hard to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side," Kate wrote.
"Together we have managed to be children again, always finding joy in the smallest things. Liam, you had the kindest soul and the funniest spirit. I feel like I have lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life," she added.
Cassidy mentioned that she kept a note from the singer which said that the two were going to get married in a year.
"Liam, I know we will be together forever, but not in the way we planned. You will always be with me. I got myself a guardian angel. I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go," Kate wrote. | BGNES
