Levski with first victory in the Champions League after a famous turnaround against Chaumont

VC Levski recorded its first success in the Champions League in volleyball. In its second home match and third overall from Group E of the most prestigious European club tournament in front of nearly 1,500 spectators at the "Levski Sofia" hall, the players of head coach Nikolay Zhelyazkov dramatically defeated the French Chaumont.

The "Blues" came to a final 3:2 (22:25, 21:25, 26:24, 25:19, 15:12) and recorded their first victory in the Champions League to the joy of their supporters. Zhelyazkov had to play without Cuban center Liban Osoria, who was out due to a hand injury.
