Lady Gaga has sparked rumours that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Michael Polanski after introducing him as her fiance.
The 38-year-old pop star is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics after recording a performance for the opening ceremony, and was spotted meeting French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal during one of the swimming events and was caught on camera introducing his longtime friend as his "fiancé."
In the clip - posted on TikTok by Attal - Gaga is seen greeting a politician before introducing her 'fiancé' Michael, who leans down to shake Attal's hand.
The French prime minister captioned the video: "Thank you, Lady Gaga, for your stunning performance at the opening ceremony. It was breathtaking."
The couple is believed to have been together since 2020. The singer was previously engaged to actor Taylor Kinney, dating for around five years after meeting on the set of her 2011 music video for 'You and I'.
They got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2015 but split the following year.
Gaga continued to date talent agent Christian Carino and was also rumoured to be engaged, but split in 2019 after two years together.
The "Born This Way" singer previously admitted she was "excited" to get married and have children, as well as doing more charity work and funding a team of doctors to conduct research into fibromyalgia and neuropathic and chronic pain - from which she suffers. | BGNES
