The Kremlin has called for de-escalation in the Middle East following Iran's unprecedented attack on Israel over the weekend.
"We are extremely concerned about the escalation of tensions in the region and call on all countries in the region to exercise restraint. Further escalation is not in anyone's interest," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by Russian state media.
On the night of April 14, Iran fired more than 300 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles at Israel. Jerusalem said it had intercepted more than 99 percent of the targets, with little damage to the country's infrastructure. Iran claims that it has achieved its goals./BGNES
