Kings survive against Raptors, Vezenkov watches from the bench

Sacramento recorded a dramatic success against Toronto in an NBA regular season game. The Kings prevailed 135:130 after having a comfortable 20-point lead at the end of the first half.

Alexander Vezenkov again did not record minutes on the floor. This is the third time in a row that the hometown basketball player has watched the game from the bench and a total of six since the start of the 2023/24 NBA season.

King's hero was Domantas Sabonis. The tough wing posted a triple-double, recording 24 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. De'Aaron Fox also chipped in with 24 points and Keegan Murray had 18. Off the bench, Malik Monk scored 15 and had a spectacular dunk.

For the Raptors team, Scotty Barnes and Immanuel Quickley had a good game, recording 20 points each. One of the leaders of the team - Pascal Siakam, scored 18, and the German Denis Schroeder, also with 18, made a good contribution from the bench.

This was victory #21 for the "Kings", who also have 13 defeats. They are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference. The next match of the team from the capital of California will be on January 8 against the New Orleans Pelicans. /BGNES
