Chef Jesse Henderson, who worked for Kim Kardashian's family, opened up about the reality star's diet and food preferences in an interview with the Daily Mail. He admitted that Kanye West's ex-wife loves fast food.
Jesse first met the Kardashian-Jenner family in 2021 when he was invited to Kylie Jenner's home to cook a Nightmare on Elm Street-style family dinner. The chef then went on to cook for all members of the famous family before Kim took him on vacation to the Dominican Republic as her personal chef.
Henderson reveals that despite her toned figure, Kim Kardashian, 43, doesn't mind indulging in dishes like "chicken legs with fries" and "pasta without sauce." Jesse noted that he was amazed by Kim's love of carbs. According to the chef, while on vacation, Kardashian took him aside and told him what he really wanted to eat for lunch.
"Then Kim said to me, 'You're probably all talking about quinoa and veggies, but I want to be honest with you: I want chicken thighs and pasta without sauce,'" Jessie recalls.
He noted that Kim always wanted something salty to snack on. And in general, the taste preferences of the members of the most famous American family are not particularly refined. "Kardashians always wanted to have quite simple and affordable food on hand. In their kitchen there always had to be pasta, chips, chicken legs and hamburgers," says the chef.
Henderson says his family pays $2,000 to $5,000 for a cooked dinner, and $15,000 to $25,000 for work on themed events and family holidays, which family members love to organize. While working, Jesse ran all the errands for the stars, catering to everyone's wishes and doing whatever it took to make them happy. "I'm one of those cooks who does everything. I'm not one of those people who come in and say, 'I'm not going to do the dishes.'
The chef stops working for the family, but keeps in touch with Kim, and quite often she invites him to California to cook her dinner. I BGNES
