Key EU leaders agreed on a second term for Ursula von der Leyen

EU leaders representing the bloc's three main political groups agreed to back current European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for a second term, AFP reported.

As part of the deal, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kalas will become the EU's foreign policy chief, and former Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa will take over as president of the European Council, the source said on condition of anonymity. | BGNES
