Katy Perry considers her daughter to be her "soul mate".
The 39-year-old pop star has three-year-old Daisy with actor Orlando Bloom. Katy has revealed that her daughter was the inspiration for her new single.
The singer told the Sun newspaper: "It's funny how sometimes you look for your soulmate in your partner. She could be a dog, your mother, your best friend, your cat... but for me, she came in the form of Daisy.
“I wrote 'Lifetimes' for her. Every night before we go to sleep I say, "I love you," and then I ask, "Will you find me in every life?" and she says, "Yes."
Katy will release her highly-anticipated new album '143' in September and has revealed that it is a mix of dance music and 'quintessential pop'. “A third of it is more danceable than I've ever done before. One-third is quintessential pop music and one-third is rhythmic,” the star said. | BGNES
