Kate Beckinsale accused her masseur of sexual harassment

The incident seems messed up due to the fact that Nick himself is accusing Kate that she just decided not to pay for his services.

It all started with Abramovich being contacted by the star's assistant and arranging for three massage sessions totaling about three thousand dollars. Two of these sessions were held, but on the third Kate did not appear, as well as did not pay the masseur the agreed amount. After never receiving the money, Nick recounted the situation on his social media accounts. "When Kate Beckinsale owes you three thousand dollars," he wrote, and twenty minutes later received a legal letter from Beckinsale's lawyer, Marty Singer. It concerned an assault on the actress that Nick had allegedly committed.

"Nick Abramovich's trauma surgeon knows exactly why he wasn't paid," a spokesperson for Beckinsale told Page Six.

Abramovich's services include "intense" and "emotional" massage. This healing method is similar to that offered by reiki, a type of alternative medicine that uses a technique called "healing by touch with the palms of the hands." Nick uses psychosomatic practices to relieve pain in various parts of the body. He says his clients remain clothed during the sessions, nor does he use oils or "run his hands" over their bodies, touching only the appropriate places that are not intimate.

"It's more of a stretching, sound work and breath therapy," Abramovic says. The man assures that he even offered Kate to film their session, as many of his clients like to watch these videos afterwards to reflect, but the actress declined for privacy reasons. Beckinsale in turn says that no such conversation took place between her and Nick.

According to Abramovich, Kate Beckinsale was very pleased with her first session with him, which was reported to him by her assistant - a messenger message Nick provided to Page Six. He also said that in a private conversation, Kate had compared him to Harry Potter and expressed her willingness to help promote his social media accounts, as well as offering to throw a party at her home to introduce Abramovich to her friends. Nick now suspects that Beckinsale was relying on free bartering - something he didn't initially realise.

Eventually, the masseuse and the actress had a second meeting, after which Kate signed up for a third - if we're to believe Nick's correspondence he allegedly had with the star's assistant. In the end, though, Beckinsale didn't show up for the last session. As sources close to her assure - because she was harassed and assaulted at the second session.

The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that an investigation into the incident between Beckinsale and Abramovich has been launched, but no charges have yet been filed. | BGNES
