Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 31 points and 21 rebounds, and the New York Knicks achieved their ninth consecutive NBA victory with a 119-103 victory over the Utah Jazz at home.
The Knicks were without their big star Jaylen Brunson, who is having a calf problem, but in his absence Towns took the leadership role and led his team to success. Mikal Bridges added 27 points in the victory, and OG Anunoby added 22, while Josh Hart had a triple-double - 15 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. He became the first Knicks player in more than 40 years to record a triple-double in back-to-back games.
Colin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson each scored 25 points for Utah, but the Jazz shot just 40 percent of their shots to the Knicks' 55.
New York is third in the Eastern Conference with 24 wins and 10 losses, while Utah is second to last in the West with a 7-25 record.
In another game that night, Nikola Jokic had another impressive triple-double with 23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists as the Denver Nuggets beat the Atlanta Hawks 139-120 in Colorado.
