While posing for the new issue of British Vogue, American superstar Julia Roberts gave an interview to screenwriter Richard Curtis in which she talked about her career.
The 56-year-old actress revealed, among other things, why she did not shoot a movie scene in which she was naked.
Roberts didn't strip for the cameras even for the role of a prostitute in Pretty Woman.
"You know, you should never criticize other people's choices. I decided not to undress in the film," says the actress, adding that she wants to help other women who feel pressured by this fact and feel they should undress in front of the cameras.
When asked if she would ever consider going nude in a movie, the actress replied: "You know I'm not into that, so if you ask me to do something like that, you have to be aware that it has to be kept under wraps . I, as a mother of three, feel that way."
In the interview, Roberts also admits that in 1999, she almost gave up filming the movie "Notting Hill".
"I was so embarrassed. I mean we talked about it so many times, but I almost didn't participate because it was... very awkward. I didn't even know how to play this guy," shared Julia, who plays the character of Anna Scott in the film. She also recalls having a problem with the costumes she had to wear in the film, and ended up sending a driver to get clothes from her closet.
By the way, Roberts has been married to cinematographer Danny Moder since 2002. In 2004, the couple had twins, Hazel and Phineas, and three years later, a son, Henry. /BGNES
