Israel's defense exports in 2023 are at an all-time high of more than $13 billion, according to the Ministry of Defense's annual report.
The report shows that 36% of all defense export deals in 2023 were related to air defense systems. That's up from 19 percent the previous year. Other significant export goods are radar and electronic warfare systems (11%), shooting and launch equipment (11%), unmanned aerial vehicles and avionics (9%) and ammunition and armaments (8%), Haaretz reported.
In the last 5 years, the scope of Israeli defense exports has doubled, and in the last 3 years, the export record has been improved every year. In 2023, almost half of the exports of defense products (48%) will be destined for the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. 35% are for Europe, 9% for North America, 4% for Latin America, 3% for countries that are part of the Abrahamic Agreement and 1% for countries in Africa. | BGNES
