A total of 39 Palestinians held by Israel will be released from jail on Sunday, a Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
As part of the agreed commitments, on the third day of the Gaza ceasefire, "39 Palestinian civilians will be released today in exchange for the release of 13 Israeli detainees from Gaza, in addition to one detainee holding Russian citizenship and 3 Thais," the spokesman Majed Al-Ansari wrote on the social platform X.
Earlier, Israeli authorities released another group of 39 Palestinians from prisons, under the agreement between Israel and Hamas. /BGNES
