Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh said any plan for a post-war Gaza that does not include the Palestinian terror group is simply a "delusion," AFP reported.
"Any agreement in Gaza or in the Palestinian cause without Hamas or the resistance factions is a delusion," Haniya said in a televised speech.
The comments came a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not allow "those who ... support and finance terrorism" to enter Gaza.
However, Haniyeh said he was open to talks to end the Israeli offensive and to "bring order to the Palestinian Authority in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip."
He stated that Hamas is ready for talks that could lead to "a political path that will ensure the Palestinian people's right to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital"./BGNES
