Sasha Vezenkov has been diagnosed with a moderate right ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated in 7-14 days. The news was reported by Sacramento Bee reporter Jason Anderson.
Vezenkov suffered the problem in the Kings' win over Atlanta on Monday, but was able to return to the floor, though he played just over six minutes, scoring eight points and grabbing two rebounds.
In his last five matches with the Californians, the Bulgarian averaged 10.0 minutes per game. In his absence, Chris Duarte and Trey Lyles are expected to get more game time.
The first game Vezenkov will miss is the visit of the Golden State Warriors on Thursday evening. /BGNES
