A Hamas delegation has arrived in Egypt for the latest round of talks on a proposed ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza, Egypt's state-run Al-Qahera News reported, citing links to Egyptian intelligence services.
The agency quoted an unnamed senior source as saying that "there has been significant progress in the negotiations" between the Palestinian militant group and Israel and Egyptian mediators had "reached an agreed formula on most of the contentious points." / BGNES, AFP
