Emergency services everywhere in the country are acting adequately, Dimitar Glavchev was categorical.
Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev arrived in the village of Otets Paisievo, which is among the most affected by the fire. "There are new and new outbreaks of fires, but the people who are on the ground show heroism and make every effort to limit the fire in the shortest possible time," said Glavchev.
Regarding his requested resignation, Glavchev commented: "It, my resignation, is not a problem. It sounds cynical to me against the background of the efforts made by everyone in the field and how quickly they deal with it. It doesn't get any faster than that - these are the people with whom we have and they act immediately. So I will not engage in political attacks, I call on the politicians to get out of the premises with the air conditioners and come to the place to see what it is about".
"There are also burnt houses in other places, the most important thing is that there are no human victims," said Glavchev and assured that all those injured in the fires will be given the social assistance they are entitled to by law. On Wednesday, hundreds of people and animals from the village of Voden evacuated without the intervention of the state.
The Minister of Social Affairs is also on the spot, and will immediately respond to help.
"All the ministers act as a team," said Glavchev and announced that the possibility of inmates also participating in extinguishing the fires is being discussed.
Meanwhile, a partial state of emergency is in effect in the Karlovo region from today. It has been announced for the villages of Prolom, Mrachenik and the city of Banya. The fire in Srednohoriete has not yet been localized. There are 50 volunteers on site and there is readiness for evacuation.
Kalin Stoyanov, for his part, explained that the Czech helicopters are working in Karlovsko, and the Turkish side is providing assistance in Yambol and the border area.
Stoyanov again said that the reaction in Voden was adequate. | BGNES
