The Milwaukee Bucks won their second NBA Cup after defeating the Western Conference leader Oklahoma City Thunder 97-81 in the final in Las Vegas.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo led his team to victory, recording a triple-double - 26 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists. Damian Lillard added 23 points, and the Bucks made 17 three-pointers to just 5 for the opponent. "This is great for our team. We're getting better and better and we're leaving Vegas as a better team. I'm very proud of this group," said two-time NBA MVP Antetokounmpo, who was named the most valuable player in this year's Cup.
The score and statistics from this game will not count towards the regular season, but each Milwaukee player will receive a bonus of $515,000 for the success.
The Oklahoma City Thunder had a bad day on offense, as the team had not scored less than 99 points since the beginning of the season, but now scored only 81. Shay-Gilgus Alexander scored 21 points and Jaylen Williams added 18, but the Thunder had only 33.7 percent shooting. | BGNES
