Matthew Perry, one of the stars of the hit TV series "Friends", was found dead in his home, American media reported. He was 54 years old.
Law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times that Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home.
According to TMZ, the actor drowned.
Perry is best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends and appeared in all 234 episodes of the show's 10 seasons.
He has also starred in other TV shows over the years, including Beverly Hills 90210, The West Wing, Funny Department, and Old Friends.
The actor opened up about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction in his 2022 memoir "Friends, Lovers and the Big Awful Thing".
