French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Tel Aviv to express his country's "full solidarity" with Israel following the deadly attacks by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on October 7, an AFP journalist reported.
The French head of state was also expected to call for the "preservation of the civilian population" in Gaza as Israel continues to bomb the Palestinian enclave and prepare for a ground offensive, the presidency said. /BGNES
