Fico was transferred to a hospital in Bratislava

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was transported to the capital Bratislava, where he will continue to recover, AFP reported.
"Robert Fico was transported from our hospital to Bratislava in the evening hours of May 30," said Banska Bystrica hospital spokeswoman Ruzena Matase.
It was not immediately clear to which hospital in the capital he was transferred.
The director of the hospital in Banska Bystrica, Miriam Lapunikova, said that the prime minister wanted to "continue his recovery at home".
The hospital said Fico's progress was "satisfactory", but his deputy prime minister, Robert Kaliniak, said his recovery would be "extremely long".
Fico was shot multiple times on May 15 while greeting supporters after a cabinet meeting in the Slovak town of Handlova.
He underwent a five-hour operation at a hospital in the nearby town of Banska Bistrica, followed by another two-hour operation two days later.
The 71-year-old poet Juraj Chintula, who shot the Slovak prime minister, has been charged with attempted murder and is being held in custody./BGNES
