European medicines watchdog rejects new Alzheimer's drug

Europe's medicines watchdog on Friday rejected a request to market a new Alzheimer's disease treatment, saying the risks of the medicine's side effects, including potential brain bleeding, outweighed the benefits, AFP reported.
