Dodik: Republika Srpska is fighting for independence on several fronts

"Republika Srpska is facing heavy political and economic pressure, as well as sanctions from last year. Its leadership has managed to overcome everything, even while fighting on several fronts."

This was stated by the President of Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik.

Dodik is in the process of recovering from surgery. He expects a "better situation for Srpska", as far as US sanctions and US policy in general are concerned, with the coming to power of President Donald Trump.

The leader of the Bosnian Serbs said that RS "has friends in the US as well".

Dodik stressed that the vast majority of Serbs in America voted for Trump both in 2016 and in 2024. | BGNES
