The bodies of two people have been pulled from a red pickup truck that was under the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
Eight construction workers were on the bridge when the cargo ship hit it on March 26, the BBC reported.
Two of the workers were rescued the same day, but the search continues for the remaining four - all of whom are presumed dead.
Rescue teams are working to remove the hazardous materials, and investigators are at the scene.
So far, the names of four of the six people who died in the collapse of the bridge are known.
Maryland State Police identified Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, and Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26, as the two workers rescued by divers from inside the pickup truck. Fuentes was born in Mexico and Cabrera is from Guatemala.
Divers are no longer able to navigate the waters safely because of the concrete and debris found in the river. They are currently using sonar scans and believe that vehicles that may contain other bodies are trapped.
The freighter itself is stable, but has over 1.5 million gallons of fuel oil and lubricating oils on board.
About 4,700 cargo containers were also on board, including 56 that contained hazardous materials. /BGNES
