Grigor Dimitrov continued his successful start to the new season after recording his second doubles win at the ATP 250 series tournament in Brisbane. Dimitrov and partner Sebastian Korda beat sixth seeds Hari Heliovara (Finland) and John Pearce (Australia) 4-6, 6-3, 10-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the event.
There, Grigor and the American tennis player will face the second seeds Jean-Julien Roger (Curaçao) and Lloyd Glasspool (Great Britain).
On Monday, Dimitrov also won his first singles match after defeating former world No. 1 Andy Murray in three sets. Tomorrow, the 14th-ranked Bulgarian in the world will meet Daniel Altmeier from Germany in a dispute for a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament. /BGNES
