The captain of the Bulgarian national football team Kiril Despodov scored a goal and gave an assist in PAOK's convincing 5:0 home victory over Ferencváros in a match from the sixth round of the league phase of the Europa League tournament.
The Bulgarian appeared in the game in the 73rd minute in place of Taison and three minutes later assisted Fedor Chalov for 3:0, and at the end he was also on the scoresheet. The remaining three goals in the Hungarians' net were scored by Taison, Brandon Thomas and Andrija Zivkovic from the penalty spot. Thus Despodov continued his strong performances recently, after scoring against RFS in the previous round.
With the victory, the Greek champions collected an asset of 7 points and are 22nd in the table, while Ferencváros is in 16th position, two points more. Despodov and company will host Slavia Prague, while the Hungarian team is away at Eintracht Frankfurt.
In other matches, Manchester United won for the third time after a turnaround over Viktoria Plzen 2:1. A mistake by Andre Onana gave the Czechs the lead, but Rasmus Hojlund twice crushed the hosts to form the complete turnaround in favor of the Red Devils.
Rangers and Tottenham shared the points after 1:1, and Lyon beat Eintracht after 3:2 at home.
