Dallas dominates Boston in Game 4 to stay alive in NBA Finals

The Dallas Mavericks stayed alive in the NBA Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics 122:84 at home in Game 4 of the series. After dropping the first three meetings, the Texans had their backs against the wall and delayed the celebrations at the opponent with a dominant performance on the floor.

Slovenian guard Luka Doncic set the tone for the convincing victory with his 25 first-half points. He finished with 29 points while adding 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Former Celtics basketball player Kyrie Irving scored 21 points. He ended his 13-game losing streak against the Celtics. This time, Dallas got some serious support from the bench, with three players scoring 10 or more points - Dante Exum (10), Derek Lively II (11) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (15).

Boston just wasn't on its own in this game, with Jayson Tatum leading the way with 15 points, Sam Hauser adding 14, Peyton Pritchard 11, and Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday each scoring 10. The Celtics finished with just over 36% shooting from the field and 14/41 from three.
