Curry won the duel with LeBron, the Warriors beat the Lakers

 

The Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 128-121 on the road in the NBA's California Derby tonight. The match was another duel between basketball legends Steph Curry and LeBron James, and this time Curry came out victorious, although the King had a slightly better performance.

The meeting in Los Angeles was even, as before the first half the two teams exchanged the lead seven times, and the break came with a point lead for the visitors. In the third part, the Warriors dominated and pulled away with 12 points, then closed the game for a valuable success against a direct competitor for participation in the playoffs.

Steph Curry returned to action after missing three games with an ankle injury and had 31 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, and Klay Thompson chipped in with 26 points off the bench. Young Jonathan Cuminga finished with 23 points, and Draymond Green recorded a double-double - 12 rebounds and 13 assists. For the Lakers, LeBron scored 40 points and added 8 rebounds and 9 assists, but Anthony Davis suffered an eye injury at the end of the first half and did not return to the game.
