Japanese scientists have proven that regular consumption of coffee can improve memory and concentration, writes "Springer" magazine.
Researchers at the University of Tsukuba conducted a study by giving mice trigonelline, a substance found in coffee, fenugreek, and Japanese radish, for 30 days. The rodents were then placed in a Morris maze, where they showed a significant increase in their ability to remember.
According to the researchers, the regular consumption of coffee leads to an improvement in cognitive functions because this compound has a beneficial effect on the blood circulation of the brain, as well as stimulates the growth of new neurons and improves communication between them./BGNES
