Chuck Norris is mourning the loss of his "wonderful" mother Wilma Norris Knight, who passed away at the age of 103.
The 84-year-old actor and martial arts master revealed the news of his mother's death in an emotional Instagram post, sharing a carousel of photos of them together over the years.
"On Wednesday morning my brother Aaron and I's wonderful mother passed away to be with Jesus," Chuck, 84, began his caption.
He goes on to describe Wilma as "a woman of unwavering faith and 'a beacon of light in our lives,'" saying her "love reflected the grace of God."
Chuck was the eldest of three brothers, born into the family of Wilma (née Scarberry) and Ray Norris. In addition to Aaron, he has another younger brother, Wieland Norris, who died at age 26 while serving in the Army during the Vietnam War.
"Growing up, her laughter filled our home with joy, and her hugs gave us a sense of security that we will always cherish," Chuck continues about his mother.
The proud son tells his followers that Wilma "had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special, often putting the needs of others before her own."
"From my earliest memories, she taught me the importance of kindness and compassion. I am so grateful for the countless lessons she shared, the prayers she lifted up for us, and the way she embodied the love of Christ every day," he concluded. | BGNES
