British Foreign Secretary David Cameron will visit Washington on Wednesday, December 6, Britain's Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO) announced, in his first visit to the United States since taking office last month.
Cameron will hold a program of bilateral meetings with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as well as meet with members of Congress from both the Republican and Democratic parties, the FCDO statement said.
Cameron, a former British prime minister, will take part in discussions with his American counterparts focusing on supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, the statement said.
He will also work to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, the statement says./BGNES
