Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) did not respond to the talks with GERB about a cabinet

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) did not respond to the invitation of GERB-UDF (GERB-Union of Democratic Forces) for talks on forming a cabinet with the first mandate, BGNES reported.

The GERB-UDF meeting with the Socialist Party was scheduled at 11 a.m., but it will not take place, as there is not a single BSP representative in the parliament.

For today, GERB-UDF  has sent invitations to meetings with the BSP, There is Such People political party (ITN) and Velichie political party. At the moment, they have officially confirmed that only ITN will be present.

BGNES reminds that on Monday GERB-UDF held a meeting with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), from which it became clear that their common programs overlapped in search of a government for shared responsibility.

An indisputable priority of both parties is membership of the Eurozone. They will work for Bulgaria to have sustainable public finances.

GERB-UDF and MRF have the same view on the anti-corruption reform. The first task is to introduce the rules for the election of members of the Anti-Corruption Commission. After that, a completely new law will be made for the confiscation of illegally acquired property.
